What fabric are your Teardrop Banners made from?

We use premium polyester — 125 GSM trilobal for single-sided and 145 GSM blockout for double-sided banners — for rich colour and long-lasting outdoor use.

What’s the difference between single-sided and double-sided printing?

Single-sided flags show a mirrored image on the back; double-sided versions have two prints with a blockout layer so both sides read perfectly.

What does “mirror reverse” mean?

Your design appears normal on the front and reversed on the back — the standard single-sided finish.

What printing process do you use?

We print with dye-sublimation for vibrant, fade-resistant colours embedded into the fabric.

How long will the print last?

Usually 6–12 months outdoors, depending on weather exposure. Store dry and avoid extreme conditions for the best results.

What are the flag poles made from?

Flexible epoxy fibreglass with double steel sleeves at the base — light, strong, rust-resistant and backed by a 1 year warranty.

Does my banner come with a pole and base?

Yes. Every teardrop flag comes as a full kit: poles, a free carry bag and the base you choose. Need a replacement print only? Contact us and we’ll quote it.

Can I buy parts separately?

Yes. Contact us for replacement prints, poles or bases and we’ll quote them for you.

Will your bases fit poles I already have?

Most likely. Our fittings use the standard 16–17 mm spigot size; contact us if you’d like to double-check.

Which base should I choose?

Ground spike: grass, sand or soil. Cross base with water bag: hard surfaces indoors or out, and the bag adds weight once filled. 5 kg steel plate: a compact, heavy base for hard floors and footpaths. 10 kg concrete base: the heaviest option, for windy or exposed outdoor spots.

How much do bases weigh?

The cross base is 85 × 75 cm and weighs 4 kg, and its water bag adds extra weight once filled. The steel plate is 40 × 40 cm and weighs 5 kg. The concrete base is round, about 41 cm across, and weighs 10 kg. The ground spike is 50 cm long, with 30 cm in the ground.

How are the flags finished?

Double-stitched hems with a reinforced black sleeve keep your banner neat, tight and durable.

How do I tension the flag?

Adjust the bottom clip so the fabric sits firm but not overstretched to avoid sagging and wear.

How can I remove creases?

Creases relax naturally outdoors, or use a low-heat iron or steamer on the reverse side.

Are the flags washable?

Yes — gentle cold wash, mild detergent and air-dry flat.

Can I print multiple designs?

Yes, you can upload several artworks in one order with no extra setup fees.

How long does production take?

Usually next business day production before 10am cut-off and after artwork approval.
